Purpose

The purpose of this Code of Conduct is to ensure a professional, lawful, and respectful environment for collaboration related to this project.

Participation in this project, including but not limited to use of the repository, issues, pull requests, discussions, or any other project-related communication channels, constitutes acceptance of this Code of Conduct.

Expected Conduct

Technical disagreement is acceptable. Hostility, disruption, or abuse is not.

  • Personal attacks, insults, or targeted hostility

  • Trolling, deliberate disruption, or bad-faith participation

  • Encouraging, promoting, or justifying illegal, unethical, or malicious activity

  • Any behavior that interferes with the safe, lawful, or intended operation of the project or its community

This list is non-exhaustive. Conduct that is deemed harmful or inappropriate may still be subject to enforcement even if not explicitly listed above.

Scope

This Code of Conduct applies to all project-related spaces, including but not limited to:

  • GitHub repositories, issues, pull requests, and discussions

  • Project documentation and communication channels

  • Any public or private interaction that directly relates to the project

Enforcement

Project maintainers reserve the exclusive and final authority to interpret and enforce this Code of Conduct.

Enforcement actions may include, at the maintainer’s sole discretion:

  • Content removal or modification

  • Warnings

  • Temporary or permanent bans from participation

  • Reporting to GitHub or relevant authorities where appropriate

No explanation or justification for enforcement actions is required.

No Right to Participation

Participation in this project is a privilege, not a right.

The developer and maintainers reserve the right to restrict or revoke participation by any individual at any time, for any reason, or for no stated reason, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

No Warranty and Limitation of Liability

This project and its community spaces are provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind.

The developer and maintainers disclaim all liability for any damages, losses, or consequences arising from participation in the project or interactions governed by this Code of Conduct.

Reporting Conduct Issues

Reports of conduct violations may be submitted via the same contact method defined in SECURITY.md.

Submission of a report does not guarantee investigation, response, or action.

Amendments

This Code of Conduct may be updated, modified, or replaced at any time without prior notice. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of the current version.
